The Puzzlemonk special-order price is currently $1.50 per piece for puzzles using paper prints, which includes design, cutting, materials, and a custom wood burned box. Shipping charges are additional, usually around $10.
The special order price for our hand painted puzzles, with original art hand painted directly onto the wood using high quality pigments, is currently $3.00 per piece; including design, cutting, materials, and a custom wood burned box. Shipping charges are additional, usually around $10.
Custom orders can be cut into whatever type of puzzle you like, including picture choice, number of pieces, size of the puzzle, size of pieces, edge cutting style, type and number of figurals, etc. I reserve the right to limit the number of figurals to a reasonable amount that fits in nicely with the overall design of the puzzle.
Using your own picture
Please let me know if you would like to send your own print and I will provide the shipping address.
Send your image on unfolded thick poster type paper or card stock. To prevent bending by the post office, it’s a good idea to place a stiff cardboard backing in the envelope. The image should be as large as you would like the finished puzzle to be—we cannot do print enlargements. If you print your own image, please include a small sample to experiment with to see whether your paper and printing method will work for puzzle making.
Please note that there is risk to your print in the puzzle making process and that there are no reimbursements for any print costs in the event that a print does not make it all the way through the process into becoming a puzzle.
